Hi, my name is Peter Smith, I am a woodturner who specialises in lacemaking bobbins.  My wife and daughter both love to make lace and need an endless supply as they make ever more complex pieces - and have ever more pillows 'in work' at a time.  Lacemaking Bobbins are fascinating and have a history and folklore all of their own - one day I might even tell you about 'Hanging Bobbins!'
